What are cookies

Cookies are small text files that the browser stores for better website functionality or to measure traffic. This website uses two categories:

1. Essential (always active)

  • ukubiku_sess — session cookie for form functionality and CSRF protection. Lifespan: until browser is closed.
  • ukubiku_consent in localStorage — remembers your cookie banner choice. Lifespan: until local storage is cleared.

2. Analytics (only after consent)

  • Google Analytics 4 — traffic measurement, anonymous statistics (page views, time on page, region). Cookies _ga, _ga_*. Lifespan: up to 2 years. Data is processed by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Analytics cookies are stored only if you click "Accept all" in the cookie banner. If you click "Essential only" or close the banner, GA will not load.

Change or withdraw consent

You can change your choice anytime by clicking the "Change cookie preferences" button in the footer.

Personal data from the contact form

If you send us a reservation inquiry, we process the following data solely for handling your inquiry:

  • First and last name
  • E-mail address
  • Phone (optional)
  • Arrival/departure date, number of guests, selected apartment
  • Your message text
  • Technical: IP address and browser type (for spam protection)

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest — protection against form abuse).

We keep the data only as long as needed to process the inquiry, and a maximum of 12 months afterwards. We don't share it with third parties except hosting (Wedos Internet, a.s.) and Google Analytics if you have given consent.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Know what data we process about you (right of access).
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request erasure — if we no longer need the data.
  • Object to processing and withdraw consent to analytics cookies at any time.
  • Lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection.
